It surprisingly seems as if television productions have purposely oriented their contents towards what is mostly desired by the Italian audience, and obviously the result is that producers think that Italians are only curious to know whether life is just one big dream or dreams , at worst , can help us carry on. Based on what appears on TV it definitely seems to be the only entertaining topic nowadays. Is this what our audiences really need?
Well, quite a while ago people enjoyed themselves when everyone on the scene wound up throwing pies at one another. May I add that probably “sound” has not added much to “action” in all cases! I think we should go on entertaining our audiences but it is equally important that we use any existing means of communication to increase people’s understanding of progress in medical research and all that comes to be known about cures and existing treatment for deadly diseases.
Personally, I would have found the answer to the question on …life being a dream …or vice versa… the very same day I discovered there was probably an existing cure, somewhere around the world, for the cancer that caused the premature death of a special friend of mine. I hope others will be able to avoid such an experience; this is why I’ve decided to share this new awareness, with my audience, by creating and directing this film. Interviewing Genetics Engineers and Medical Researchers is not at all impossible. Michela , my girlfriend, along with her friends managed to do so. They discovered that the “silence” that existed was mere lack of interest in transferring their findings effectively.
This is really a shame for those individuals that have contributed in generating such a situation, and would not hesitate in putting the guilt on them.
What people say about the Director……
He is ingenious enough and has enough culture on the topic to be considered more than just the Director of the film. Fascinating person capable of many roles. Very honest with himself and others, he could never give up his principles and he defends his values with great sense of responsibility. He is a great speaker, sometimes gentle, sometimes rude. But he always reveals exactly what he has on his mind. Special effects don’t amaze him. He loves simple things. He spends most of his time tracking cultural changes in civilization concerning various fields so as to be able to record substantial modifications that may affect public security or true values of mankind. He analyses social phenomenon and its influence and most of the time decides to base his films on the more involving themes.

There is much to say about his accomplishments but we’d rather summarize it all by saying that his personality is unique. It’s wonderful to know that there are people like the Director of this film, that think they can change the world or at least try to do so. Thanks to his intuition and tenaciousness, the idea behind this film has been brought about and shaped. In everyday life, he loves simplicity. He loves to cook, he thinks a good laugh is all that you need to feel better, he adores….women, plays various instruments, sings, and much more ...in other words we like to consider him among the ”Greats” ; But as he clings to his ideas he feels he’s just plain old Guido Marcone and says:
“You guys, let’s go out there and let it all out so that people can hear what we have to say….”
By the way, everyone knows him as being quite a chatter !!
