THE ORIGIN OF SUCH AN IDEA   


Television and film are undoubtedly among the best mediums of communication that exist today. It is unfortunate, therefore, that they are not used to their full extent as informational media, but have become delivery vehicles of cheap entertainment and crass commercialism. And even though people prefer entertainment, reality must be faced.

            It would have been easy, given the media, for a producer to create a film with a more popular theme. These subjects, however, affect mankind as a whole, and must be communicated to the public. It is with this in mind that "Silence That Kills" was made. This film seeks to bring to the public some of the facts that the producers have discovered while researching recent advances in the research of genetics. A few of the questions that the film will answer serve to highlight the main themes:




 

What the public fears most is lack of information or disinformation. In case of an urgent need of therapy, everyone should be made aware of all of the cures available, and the extent to which they are being used.

"Silence That Kills" presents the results obtained by a group of youngsters posing as "investigators."
